Petite (Straight Flat Body)
Having a petite figure you must create curves from your clothes, go for clothes with volume like pleating, ruffles and bright bold colours in patterns. Have the waist band firm around your waistline which will create shape between the bust and hips. Example: Banish Manish high waist skirts are great as they clinch at the waist and puff out at the bottom, the Shape seeker Boobtube Dress and the Sweedee dress are also good shape creators which will show off your long lean legs. Clinching a belt around your waist will also create shape if you have a baggy dress or top on.
Apple (Fuller upper Body-Smaller Bottom Half)
You must try and avoid tight sleeves as they accentuate the tummy area, Clinching belts and sashes around your waist and flatten your figure with zippers to create an illusion of a smaller waist. Wearing wraps are a great garment as they tie around waist creating an illusion and the dress falls from the waist.
Pear (Narrower top-Larger hips)
Being pear shape is having narrower shoulders and large hips. To balance out your figure wearing V-necks are very flattering for pear shapes, this draws attention away from the hips. Dont wear tight sleeves as it accentuates the smaller top half. Wear dark colouring in pencil skirts or pants which will give an illusion of slimmer thighs. Also any off the shoulder tops or free flow dresses are great such as the izzie dress, Frill seeker dress, pirro Slip off the shoulder dresses are great for pear shapes.
Hour Glass (Curvy figure)
Wearing an A-Line dress or High Waist fitted dress will show off your curves. Enhance your bust by wearing a wrap dress or V-Neck dress, also wearing knee high skirts and pants are more flattering for your thighs.
